Where to start a block the questions more poorly. My thinking will set your website up for success or failure in this blog post  I'm reviewing the seven best web hosting platforms for new loggers to help you decide.

blog hosting platform

I'm also revealing the best blog platform to give you complete control of your site were talking getting started blogging today on let's talk money money make your money work creating the financial future, The biggest questions about starting blood that we haven't covered yet here on the channel is just where to get your website it's actually one of the most important questions you will ask what web hosting platform to use and what content management system.

First you have to figure out what web hosting platform that you want to use this is the company that stores your website on the servers that computer hardware then delivers it through the Internet every time you get a visitor.

Obviously this is hugely important because you need a reliable web host that's gonna keep your blog up and make it as fast as possible. When I started my first blog in 2010 really just a few pages for my freelance equity analyst research.

I started with Go Daddy. We've all seen the commercials back then it was the Go Daddy girls but but the web host spends more on advertising than any others with usually the first new bloggers think up.

Go Daddy was okay. I had really had great customer service, but the platform didn't really give me the control that I wanted in designing the block.

When I started three more blogs in 2014 I did a little more research on the web host at this time I started the new blogs on blue host at the same solid customer service like that with Go Daddy, but also with control over designing the sites and some of the great features that will talk about.

Since then I've also tried site ground of big screws for web hosting will share my experience with both of those but I want to get that web host review nominal walk you through the costs features pros and cons for each of these most popular web hosting sites to help you get started right.

First I want to get your feedback on something. Blogging is change my life, but I've been doing it for so long that I've forgotten some of the biggest questions that new bloggers ask so what that one thing keeping you from starting a blog what questions you have about getting started and just making money.

you'll either choose shared hosting or dedicated servers not shared hosting just means web host putting multiple blogs on the same server that computer storage or dedicated service means your blog.

It's its own server obviously shared hosting is much cheaper and works for almost all new bloggers but now this is where it becomes hugely important to pick the right web.

The wrong web hosting platform is gonna put too many sites on a single server cramming in as many as possible there to save money. The problem here is that it's going to slow down your site and the blog could crash if any of those other websites on that same server get a big spike in traffic so look at the seven most popular web host features and in the pricing here.

I'll start off with some of the best web hosting for new bloggers then review the platforms for bigger blogs and e-commerce sites. No blue host wins in a review for best web hosting platforms for new bloggers on its lower cost and ease of use the web host is integrated WordPress and will one click solution recently so you don't even have to install.

You can literally have your blog online within five minutes and with some of the best features and hosting normally blue host starts at 395 a month for its basic plan that includes all the storage space you need for one blog email accounts and even $50 in marketing offers on Google AdWords for those starting multiple websites at once.

The plus package lets you create and host unlimited sites on your account and then includes more free advertising as an affiliate of blue host and an influencer here on this web site .

Go Daddy is the biggest name in WordPress hosting. Like I said it's where I started. And they really do have excellent customer service.

I still remember calling it at 11 PM on a Thursday that first night. Try to set up my block. I'm at the least tacky kind of person you'll meet the Go Daddy support was able to talk me through setting up the website and other basic plan is a little more expensive than this special offer from blue host and you don't quite get the bandwidth you get more power on the premium levels but they limit how many websites you can have on that one account.

My biggest problem with Go Daddy. The reason I switched to blue host for my new blogs was I didn't like I had as much control designing the sites with the Go Daddy platform.

The web host uses a unique drag-and-drop website builder that makes it made makes it easier for new bloggers, but I felt like was also limiting you what you can do.

It's more of a template websites you have less freedom to go outside that template now. Another popular choice in web hosting is host gator.com a Houston-based company started in 2002 Risa start out higher here than these other web hosting platforms for you.

Get a little bit more AdWords credit. With that the platform offers a little more storage but since storage really isn't an issue with Go Daddy or blue host.

I never really felt like host gator offered anything special to make up for that cost. There comes a time when you outgrow this beginner web hosts.

I know a lot of bloggers that stick with platforms like blue host Go Daddy and host gator for years but there does sometimes come a point when you need some premium features. It's usually when you reach those 50,000 visitors a month, or maybe around five years after starting a block for me that meant spending a few years saving money with blue host but then switching the site ground and now big screws for hosting.

I still have a few smaller blogs on blue host and recommended all new bloggers to start out with. Now I switch to site ground initially because I heard it put less websites on each server so each site would be served faster across the Internet.

The prices are reasonable and the platform offers a little more storage space that then you get on some of the starter web hosts. The problem I ran into a site ground and this one was actually a big one is that they limit the number of executions you can get on your side each month.

Now these are like how many times different files and content are delivered through the hosting the problem here is that you can have huge spikes in the several times a month anytime about hits your blog or spammers look around the site.

When you reach your limit site ground just shuts down the website even if you take action to limit these bots crawling your site. This can be a real pain I was getting warnings from site ground just about every month and that I had reached my execution limit and the site would be shut down for the rest of the month.

I I just got fed up with it and finally switch my high-traffic websites over the big suits which wins for best web hosting company for those larger websites. The basic plan on big suits doesn't offer quite the bandwidth or the other starter features you get with blue host, but the power you get on that turbodiesel plan is the best deal you get for those higher traffic blocks, big suits offers great customer and technical service.

But the real power comes from those enterprise grade SSD service which gives your blog better performance and reliability compared other hosts. So that's five web host for bloggers and a plan.

This can work for 99% of you out there. I'd start with blue host and then maybe think about switching over to big suits after five years or once you reach that 50,000 visitors a month.

Now I've got two more web host review, but these are to be mostly for e-commerce sites will look at wicks and stratify, which are like a combination of your web hosting and that content management system.

The will talk about later will review other content plan platforms like WordPress and Blogger.com. Next, but if you plan on creating an e-commerce site.

You can use wicks or shop abide to handle your hosting and that CMS and when I say e-commerce I what I'm talking about here is a website specifically designed like an online store to sell products directly from the site and you might add a blog page to the site, but the main purpose here is to sell those feature products in a storefront for this.

You really do need to go with a specialized platform like shop of fireworks you here you can see the point-of-sale function on shop by which really lays out everything in a way that's easy to shop using chapter 5 comes with some must-have e-commerce features but it also comes at a cost of the basic plan starts at $29 a month, but you get direct selling from your site.

The ability to take credit card payments and no transaction fees. You also get the ability to offer discount codes and other e-commerce features.

Another popular e-commerce website builder wicks.com also uses that same drag-and-drop function similar to Go Daddy even has a free action to get you started. The problem with that free option, though, is that your blog's initial ads controlled by wicks and you will actually own your site.

Beyond that the pricing levels are a little higher than we saw with web hosting but less than the e-commerce options on top of you get more and add vouchers with wicks, but storage space is limited and I feel like you get fewer features than you need for an online store.

Just as important as choosing that web hosting platform is the content management system or the CMS this is like the canvas on top of which you build your blog how you create, organize, and publish your content. CMS allows you to manage your blog without being a computer program now by far the most popular CMS is WordPress, which uses is used on 39% or about four and 10 managed blogs another another 10% of relaxed now here like with wicks.

You can use WordPress to set up a free blog but you don't have control over the ads in the site won't really be yours since you can install WordPress free with most shared web hosting. It's a no-brainer to choose that premium version.

There are a few other platforms they that are popular like Drupal, Blogger.com and Joomla! because they're not as popular as WordPress, though you might be limited on what plug-ins you will find it and that functionality deciding whether to use WordPress or not might not seem like a question that needs answered
